I’ll admit I did cheat, this picture (clearly) is not from this week. But while Colorado can be super windy at times…this week it just wasn’t. So, here’s our picture:
In all fairness…I”ll tell you the real story: this was the only 30 seconds this kite was in the air. It was one of those cheap flimsy ones and it was broken shortly after this image was taken. Also, my nephew was in the foreground and had to be edited out. But as soon as I saw this image I knew it was something special. It’s now a 24×30 above her bed!

I love this shot so much, and have to admit that I have never played with a kite with my boys. I really need to do that before the grow up too big to really LOVE IT.
