How far ahead do I need to book my session?
Generally, I book about 4 weeks out. But know this: the fall is crazytown. I start booking fall sessions in the early summer. The most popular month of year is October. If you want a session in September, October, or November…even if you are thinking about this in March…call me. It’s never too early to book for fall.
Where should we do our session? Do we come to your studio? What are some good locations?
We will work together to determine the best location. Once your session is booked, tell me about the kind of feel you want for your images or let me know which images on my site stand out to you. I can also direct you to my “location slideshow” which shows sample images from various locations around town. Newborn photo sessions are almost always held at your home. Generally when the weather is nice-April/May to November…folks want to be outside, or we photograph at your home and do a combination of indoor and outdoor shots. In the cold months-December to March, sessions are held in-home or in studio.
Do you offer a Baby’s First Year Plan?
Yes-I am currently revamping my First Year Plan as the all-new bright & shiny A Year In The Life. Please contact me for more info!
What the heck do we wear?
Fear not. After you book your session-I will send you my very comprehensive Session Guide which will go over the clothing question and covers so much more!
How large can I print my digital files?
I do not put any sort of limit on the digital files you purchase. I resize them to approximately 11×17…but am happy to send you individual files sized larger should you need them. I want you to be able to print as large as your heart desires! Some clients do not feel comfortable doing the large printing themselves-if you fall into this group, just let me know. I have a magical app that I can put to work for you and show you exactly how different size prints/canvases would look in your actual space!
Do you offer photography classes?
YES! I offer beginner photography classes for those wishing to learn how to get their fancy DSLR out of auto mode and start taking better pictures! Typically these classes are offered in the winter-January, February and March. I offer one-on-one training as well throughout the year. Details here.
