Project 52 | Week 10 | Vintage

This week’s theme is Vintage…and well I really went back into the archives for this one.  This is my sister and I, circa 1979.  What’s important to note here is the dynamic.  This is exactly how we were.  I have just said something nasty and appear smug.  She is 3 years old and clearly very distressed and trying to point fingers.  I was constantly tormenting her.  What an awful sister I was!  But when I came across this…I thought about my own girls.  How they fight like cats and dogs and absolutely drive me insane.  And how my sister and I fought like that for years and years…and now are so very close.  It gives me hope.  Because if I have to yell “stop fighting!” one more time from the front seat, I very well may lose my mind.

Head on over to check out the next photog, Southeast Wyoming newborn, child, senior and family photographer, Kate!

I am totally cracking up. I laughed out loud and I showed my girls the photo and they started cracking up. Maybe because we all relate so much to the picture and the story. Great, great take on Vintage. I so needed that laugh!

Attitude is everything….we older sisters have to stick together! Looks like you had fun taking a trip through your archives. This certainly captures the song and dance between siblings.
