I have (shamefully) been absent from this blog and this project for a few weeks now. The beginning of school combined with insane catch up from our summer travels meant no time for anything else! I hope to be able to finish out the year with this project…I can’t BELIEVE it’s week 35. The theme this week is happiness. And while lots of things make my happy, I decided to focus on this: my house. and also, my grandmother keeps asking for pics! Multitasking.
LOVE. My deck.
Need I say more. If you’ve ever had a front loading washer and dryer, you get it.
I can’t believe I just posted that. My terrible mess of an office. You could play where’s waldo I’m sure. Can you find the wine glass? Oops. Working late.
I do love this futon in my office because it is a stupid ridiculous no one wants it futon which is now cute because of a gray cover and an ikea pillow. And yes that is a cute yellow frame from The Organic Bloom! I bought it at the NAPCP retreat. Which is screaming for a picture, I know…next project.
I could have taken 100 pictures of my girls’ rooms. Love how they are decorated, and they look lived in.
What’s special about this bathroom? Well nothing really. But the girls picked everything out and then C found this rug in my prop stash and claimed it. She put it down and said, “it’s like that rug was meant to be in here”. True that.
And the hair bow holder that I made. With a glue gun. Come on.
Ok the first step is admitting you have a problem. But I’m just impressed I was able to make this tiny closet work in the first place.
And last but not least. My santuary. Love this chair in here, much more than I used to in my living room. I know, need to hang those frames.
And that’s the end of my house tour! Not going to win any photography awards for this post…but I’m glad I was able to share.
